Dr. Joseph Tucker

Dr. Tucker grew up in a small town in Oklahoma and is a double-alum from OU, having completed his Bachelor’s degree in 1999 as a Microbiology major and then graduating from the OU College of Dentistry in 2003.

After becoming licensed to practice dentistry, Dr. Tucker completed a competitive residency in Advanced Education for General Dentistry. Dr. Tucker is a highly skilled clinician and brings over 17 years of experience to his Edmond dental practice. He continually educates himself on the latest issues and approaches in dentistry today and utilizes the most innovative techniques and materials to best serve his patients.

In addition to his commitment to providing excellent care, Dr. Tucker is known for his ability to put patients at ease. Over the years, he has helped many individuals overcome their fear of going to the dentist. Patients love how personable and down to earth Dr. Tucker is, and they are quick to realize that he is also extremely knowledgeable and capable.

Dr. Tucker also brings his love for technology to his office, providing faster and more effective dental treatments for his patients through the use of state-of-the-art equipment and software.

Before opening Edmond Dental at Deer Creek, Dr. Tucker lived in San Diego, California where he opened his first dental practice and raised his family for nearly a decade. Dr. Tucker then returned to Oklahoma with his wife and three kids and is excited to be part of the growing Edmond community.

Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends, fishing, skiing, and traveling. Dr. Tucker is an avid OU football fan and also loves cars, trucks, and all things mechanical. His new pastime is learning to golf with his kids. He and his family also recently embarked on a quest to visit all 50 states before his oldest daughter graduates from high school.
